Review

The Lost Love Song is a fantastic romance above love and loss. There are so many facets of this book that I won’t say much because I’m afraid of ruining something.

The Lost Love Song is about a song that finds its way to different couples. There is the main story and then a few side character stories. The connection between the stories is the song. The love stories are great and different parts about music make it better.

Diane writes a love song to her boyfriend to let him know she is ready to marry him after dating for seven years. Tragedy keeps Diane from ever playing the song for Arie, but the song lives on.

The Lost Love Song follows Diane’s love song as different people hear it and spread the song. All of these people have their own love story.

Arie’s story is the main story throughout the book. Evie moves next door to Arie. Can these two people not looking for love find it? Will they be able to let each other in and move on from previous heart ache?

The Lost Love Song is about difficult love, whether it’s because of the people themselves or their situation.

I loved The Lost Love Song. There is so much emotional and love in the story. I also love music, so the traveling song was a very nice and unique touch.

The Lost Love Song was my first book by Minnie Darke but definitely will not be my last. I just added Star-Crossed to my TBR.

I highly recommend The Lost Love Song for fans of Jojo Moyes, Josie Silver, and Jill Santopolo.

Thank you NetGalley and Ballantine Books/Random House Publishing Group for The Lost Love Song.
