Book Review

Alex In Wonderland by Max Monroe is a steamy romantic comedy.

Alex Little is working at a children’s party when she meets Matt Hadder. Alex is trying to make money just to pay her rent. Matt runs a party planning organization, Wonderland Inc. that is actually a cover up for hiding anything the rich and famous need hidden. Matt is talking to one of his colleagues about the business and isn’t sure if Alex overheard. Matt decides to offer Alex a job to keep her close and find out what she knows. Matt doesn’t expect to care for Alex, but the more time he spends with her the more he does. How does Alex feel?

I really enjoyed Alex in Wonderland. It is your typical Max Monroe novel that will make you laugh but also has steamy sex scenes. The book is told from Alex and Matt’s perspectives. I enjoyed their interactions. Matt is the bad boy but is trying to be good at least around Alex. Alex’s problems and Matt’s problems are so different. Can they figure out how to get over their differences?

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell. Their narration was excellent and added to the story.
