  1. I loved You’ll Never Believe What Happened to Lacey by Amber Ruffin (a talented comedy writer/performer on Late Night with Seth Meyers) with her sister Lacey Lamar. They present a very serious subject using the power of laughter to get the message across. Hilarious and infuriating at the same time. Here’s my review:

      1. And interestingly, I have tried to get discussions going about this book with avid readers and people seem to be afraid to comment and engage. Racism is real and it should be discussed. People who are not Black and read this book may feel bad or ashamed but we should see life through the lens of others so we can all do better. We can only strive to be more aware and more forward. I was so glad you reviewed it too!!
